In this performance, we dealt with the matter that future cityscapes might be shaped by quadcopters and other (small) flying vehicles. This raises not only questions concerning safety but also concerning private spaces. Commercial drones, e. g. delivery drones, unsurprisingly rely on the acquisition of their surroundings from an entirely new perspective, including private spaces.
To illustrate this possible omnipresence, our presentation was suddenly interrupted by a live stream from a drone flying around and within the university building. Interestingly, it took quite some time until the audience recognized seeing themselves being part of the presentation. By involuntarily integrating the audience into the performance, people had to deal with the concrete scenario and therefore perceived it very differently.
